Steering Committee Members
The Steering Committee is the governing body of the Network. In the Steering Committee Meeting held in January 2007, pursuant to the adoption of a resolution in forming the Asia Cause Lawyers Network , the participating group of eminent cause lawyers representing countries around Asia decided unanimously to form the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee guides the activities of the Network by devising it's strategy, identifying the focus areas, outlining it's work for a given year and contributing to the work of the Network.

The Steering Committee Members are:
- Indira Jaising (INDIA) an eminent lawyer with a career spanning over 40 yrs in social action litigation in India.
- Akiko Ito (JAPAN) currently the Head of the Disability Division of the United Nations.
- Anna Wu (CHINA) the current advisor to the Shantou University in Hong Kong.
- Guo Jianmei (CHINA) Founder Director of the Centre for Law Studies and Legal Services of the School of Law, Peiking University
- Hina Jilani Hina Jilani (PAKISTAN)is an advocate and human rights worker who co-founded Pakistan 's first all-female legal practice.
- Ramamurti Vaigai (INDIA) an eminent Human rights lawyer from Chennai.
- Rita Kolibonso (INDONESIA) Indonesia's foremost woman lawyer who heads the organization, Mitra Perempuan
- Rowena Guanzon (PHILLIPINES) a practicing lawyer, writer, and advocate of children's rights and women's rights
- Salma Ali (BANGLADESH) a leading human rights activist.
- Sapana Pradhan Malla (NEPAL) president of the Forum for Women , Law and Development, Nepal
- Savitri Goonesekere (SRI LANKA) a jurist and academic
- Yaowalak Anupahan (THAILAND) The current Chair of the Human Rights Sub-Committee on Children, Women, Elders and Disabled Persons of the Lawyers Council of Thailand.
