“Advancing the Rights of Women with Disabilities: Building Bridges Between and Across Human Rights Communities”
A seminar was organized on the 21st May 2009 in Mumbai, with the objective of exploring the links between women’s rights and disability rights, and locating them within the broader context of international human rights. The seminar was helpful in initiating a dialogue between the local activists and those proficient in international human rights law. The following were the Action Points adopted at the end of the seminar.
