Who can contribute?

We invite experts, lawyers, litigants, survivors and academicians to share their story, their experience, provide legal analysis and draw attention to issues of public importance. We are particularly keen on the reasons and the background of issues to further the cause of human rights through law as a tool of social change. 

Contributions can include but not be limited to:

  • Articles (1000 to 1500 words)
  • Essays (up to 6000 words)
  • Photo Essays
  • Illustrations

 How to Contribute?

  • To contribute an article, an essay, photo essay for The Invisible Law or enquire about syndication, please email a 300-400 words long pitch, your résumé and a list of your published work to
  • We welcome completed manuscripts too.
  • Footnotes are discouraged but please provide hyperlinks to relevant sources and background information.
  • All submitted work should be original and unpublished.

Please note that while we read every pitch, we may not be able to respond to each submission. If the final article is approved by our editorial board, we will further process the article for publication with their inputs and your agreement.


We also welcome and may publish comments on our articles and essays. Please keep them brief and include your résumé.
