  3. Researching judgments and summarizing them for the Global Health and Human Rights Database

We seek enthusiastic volunteers who are dedicated to the cause and values of rights-based approach to human rights. We offer volunteers the freedom to contribute remotely. Lawyers Collective seeks to recruit a project manager for the Global Health and Human Rights Database. The job profile includes opportunities for research on case law across jurisdictions, relating to the right to health and other human rights. The candidate will be expected to coordinate with volunteers across various institutions in order to finalize case summaries prepared by them. The candidate chosen shall also be responsible for routine updating of the Global Health and Human Rights Database website.

Established in 1981, Lawyers Collective is one of the leading public interest service providers in India with a proven record of setting high standards in human rights advocacy, legal aid and litigation. The Lawyers Collective and the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law—working with over 100 partners globally, including NGOs, academics and private researchers— has collaborated to bring together judgments, instruments, and constitutions involving health and human rights in a single Global Health and Human Rights Database.
